Here is the list of the latest football players injuries, which might be helpful when you place your bets:
26-Year-Old Defender Fiorentina Serie A
Injury Shoulder Est. Return 9/18/2021
Sprains shoulder against Atalanta
Venuti won one duel and drew one in 25 minutes in Saturday's 2-1 win over Atalanta and subbed off in the first half due to a shoulder sprain, Fiorentina announced.
Venuti will take further tests in the next few days to determine the severity of the injury. Alvaro Odriozola was already a strong bet to overtake him at right-back anyway. Fiorentina will visit Genoa Sunday.
23-Year-Old Forward Santos Laguna Liga MX
Injury Ankle Est. Return 9/19/2021
Misses Tijuana clash
Aguirre wasn't in the squad for Friday's 2-1 loss to Tijuana due to an ankle sprain, Humberto Vazquez of El Siglo de Torreon reported Wednesday.
Aguirre left the previous match with an apparently serious issue and was consequently omitted from Friday's game. It's unclear if he'll be ready for the next home match against Puebla but a long appearance will be unlikely after three weeks of inactivity. Both Alessio Da Cruz and Jesus Ocejo started versus Xolos and could continue to benefit from increased playing time in Aguirre's absence.
20-Year-Old Defender Empoli Serie A
Injury Lower Leg Est. Return 9/19/2021
Unavailable versus Venezia
Parisi (lower leg) did not make the bench for Sunday's game against Venezia.
Parisi played in a friendly during the break after missing months with a fibula fracture, but the coach will allow him to work on his conditioning before calling him up. Riccardo Marchizza will remain the starter at left-back until Parisi is ready to go.
26-Year-Old Midfielder Bayern Munich Bundesliga
Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 9/14/2021
Comes off with a knock
Gnabry (undisclosed) came off for precautionary reasons, according to Sky Sports.
Gnabry went down hard from a challenge and came off with what appeared to be a bruise. It's unclear the severity of the injury but he's one to keep an eye on before Tuesday's trip to Barcelona in the Champions League. If Gnabry does miss time it's like that the red-hot Jamal Musiala would deputize on the wing.
30-Year-Old Forward Napoli Serie A
Injury Knee Est. Return 9/20/2021
Subs off versus Juventus
Insigne took three shots (two on target), created six scoring chances, drew two fouls and bowed out after 73 minutes due to leg injury in Saturday's 2-1 win over Juventus.
Insigne logged a pretty productive performance, pacing his side in chances. He limped off clutching his knee after taking a corner kick and might have suffered a muscular problem, DAZN's sideline reporter indicated. He will be assessed in the next couple of days. Hirving Lozano and Adam Ounas would see an uptick of minutes if Insigne was forced to miss time.
27-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Lazio Serie A
Injury Calf Est. Return 9/12/2021
Could play versus Milan
Lazzari (calf) has been practicing regularly in the last couple of days and is in contention with Adam Marusic to start against Milan, Corriere dello Sport informs.
Lazzari suffered a calf pull right before the break, but the injury turned out to be less severe than initially feared. Still, it is possible the coaching staff errs on the side of caution in this one.
32-Year-Old Midfielder Sampdoria Serie A
Injury Back Est. Return 9/19/2021
Ruled out for Inter clash
Ekdal will miss Sunday's match versus Inter due to back pain, Sampdoria announced.
Ekdal suffered the injury during his time with Sweden and will be forced to skip this one. Adrien Silva will likely fill in, with Kristoffer Askildsen as the top backup.
18-Year-Old Midfielder Spezia Serie A
Injury Not Injury Related Est. Return 9/19/2021
Sheri will skip Sunday's game versus Udinese as he returned very late from international duties, coach Thiago Motta announced.
Sher will miss the third game in a row for reasons unrelated to his physical condition. Spezia have added some depth to the midfield in the final days of the window, bringing in Kevin Agudelo and Mehdi Bourabia, who will limit Sher's role once he will be available.
