Here is the list of the latest football players injuries, which might be helpful when you place your bets:

1.Cengiz Under

24-Year-Old Forward/Midfielder Marseille Ligue 1

Injury Back Est. Return 12/1/2021

Doubtful against Nantes

Under (back) has been very limited in training this week and is doubtful for Wednesday's match versus Nantes, L'Equipe reports.

ANALYSIS

Under has barely trained over the past week and continues to struggle with his issue which on a short week makes him a likely candidate to just get rested all together. Final decision on his status though may come down to the wire if he's allowed to give it a go in the morning warm up.

2.Ahmadou Bamba Dieng

21-Year-Old Forward Marseille Ligue 1

Injury Knee Est. Return 12/4/2021

Ruled out versus Nantes

Dieng is dealing with a knee injury and is ruled out for Wednesday's match versus Nantes, L'Equipe reports.

ANALYSIS

Dieng suffered the issue last week and while he was on the bench over the weekend apparently the short week here comes a bit too much for him and he'll just be shelved for this one. The youngster will be fully expected to return for the next outing. Arkadiusz Milik should lead the line versus the Canaries.

3.Jimmy Medranda

27-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Seattle Sounders FC MLS

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 2/1/2022

Misses playoff loss with injury

Medranda (undisclosed) was not in Seattle's match day squad for last week's Round One defeat against Real Salt Lake.

ANALYSIS

Medranda had his best MLS season going forward in 2021, posting four goals and three assists in 25 appearances (15 starts) in a more advanced left midfield role for Seattle. He missed the last month of the season with an undisclosed injury, but will hope to return fully fit in 2022 to challenge Brad Smith for the spot in the lineup.

4.Nouhou Tolo

24-Year-Old Defender Seattle Sounders FC MLS

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 1/1/2022

Misses playoff loss with injury

Tolo (undisclosed) missed last week's Round One defeat against Real Salt Lake.

ANALYSIS

Tolo ends the season with seven clean sheets in 19 MLS appearances (16 starts), having missed three months in the summer with a groin injury. He will want to return fully fit in 2022 and ready to be a starter in Seattle's back three once again.

5.Matheus Henrique

23-Year-Old Midfielder Sassuolo Serie A

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 12/1/2021

Fit for Napoli match

Henrique (fatigue) has been included in Sassuolo's squad list to face Napoli Wednesday.

ANALYSIS

Henrique was in doubt due to some lingering fatigue, but he will at least be present on the bench. He will be in contention with Hamed Traore and Abdou Harroui to get his second start in a row. He has logged one assist, two shots, two tackles and three interceptions in six appearances so far.

6.Jeremie Boga

24-Year-Old Forward/Midfielder Sassuolo Serie A

Injury Thigh Est. Return 12/5/2021

Ruled out again

Boga (thigh) was not named in Sassuolo's squad list to face Napoli Wednesday.

ANALYSIS

Boga will stay on the mend despite the coach showing some optimism in the pre-game presser. Gianluca Scamacca has good chances to again spearhead the frontline, with Giacomo Raspadori on the left flank in Boga's spot. Scamacca has bagged two goals in a row but faces competition from Gregoire Defrel.

7.Kevin Agudelo

23-Year-Old Forward/Midfielder Spezia Serie A

Injury Foot Est. Return 12/5/2021

Managed versus Inter

Agudelo (foot) will miss Wednesday's match against and will be back for the following match against Sassuolo, Spezia announced.

ANALYSIS

Agudelo returned in the past game from a foot fracture and is not ready to play two matches in a row on short rest, therefore he will stay home to work on his conditioning. He is set to be available Sunday versus Sassuolo. He played 14 games in his first appearance back.

8.Daniele Verde

25-Year-Old Forward Spezia Serie A

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 12/1/2021

Available against Inter

Verde (undisclosed) has been included in Spezia's squad list to face Inter Wednesday.

ANALYSIS

Verde is good to go after sitting out one game likely due to simple fatigue. He will be in contention with Janis Antiste and David Strelec to start up front, as he had done in two straight games before the hiccup. He has logged three goals, one assist, 24 shots and ten chances created in 12 matches (seven starts).
