Here is the list of the latest football players injuries, which might be helpful when you place your bets:

1.Roberto Firmino

30-Year-Old Forward Liverpool Premier

Injury Hamstring Est. Return 12/16/2021

Takes part in training

Firmino (hamstring) took part in a limited training session Thursday, though he's not expected to be an option Saturday against Aston Villa.

Firmino is working his way back having spent the last month out with a hamstring injury. He'll need to get back to full training before he can be an option again, which means he has a chance for the Dec. 16 contest against Newcastle if all goes well in the next few days.

2.Sergi Roberto

29-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Barcelona La Liga

Injury Quadriceps Est. Return 1/23/2022

Successfully undergoes surgery

Roberto (quadriceps) successfully underwent surgery, his club announced Thursday.

Roberto hasn't played since Oct. 27 and will remain out indefinitely until his recovery is finished. He hasn't played more than 15 games in the last two seasons and it's unclear when he could break this injury slump.

3.Jordi Alba

32-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Barcelona La Liga

Injury Hamstring Est. Return 12/21/2021

Hamstring injury confirmed

Alba suffered a right hamstring injury during Wednesday's 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich, his club confirmed Thursday.

It's safe to expect that Alba will be out until 2022, though there may be a chance he returns in two weeks against Sevilla after suffering an early injury in a decisively bad game. Oscar Mingueza replaced Alba in Wednesday's loss and didn't look too convincing, so Nico Gonzalez can be seen as a natural alternate for Sunday's trip to Osasuna and beyond.

4.Memphis Depay

27-Year-Old Forward Barcelona La Liga

Injury Hamstring Est. Return 12/21/2021

Creates two chances, picks up knock

Depay created two chances from four crosses (one accurate) and put one shot off target during Wednesday's 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich. He also suffered a hamstring injury in the match, his club announced Thursday.

Depay failed to score in all six group stage matches during a disappointing section of the season by most measures. He still has a sizable lead in set piece duties so his base value is little to worry about, but a failure to perform in high-pressure matches is notable from his first months at Barcelona. Instead of looking to Sunday's match at Osasuna, Depay may look for a return in the Dec 21 match against Sevilla or play it safe and come back in 2022. While he's out, the presence of Ousmane Dembele will help absorb some of the attacking duties while Luuk de Jong could also receive a start at striker.

28-Year-Old Forward/Midfielder Sevilla La Liga

Injury Hamstring Est. Return 12/21/2021

Dislocates ankle Tuesday

Suso (ankle/hamstring) dislocated his hamstring in training Thursday, the club announced.

Suso is now dealing with two relatively major injuries and has no specific timeline for return. This was his first return to training and it seems he's immediately headed back to the medical area. Look for Suso to return in the new year, it would be a surprise to see him return earlier.

6.Danny Ings

29-Year-Old Forward Aston Villa Premier

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 12/11/2021

Pictured in training

Ings (undisclosed) was pictured in training Thursday ahead of Saturday's trip to Liverpool.

Ings is training, but it's unknown to what extent, something Steven Gerrard will probably discuss in his press conference. Ings has missed the last two matches and didn't appear in the prior one and it's hard to see him starting Saturday given the lack of pitch time.

7.Yayah Kallon

20-Year-Old Forward Genoa Serie A

Injury Thigh Est. Return 12/10/2021

Questionable for Sampdoria match

Kallon (thigh) returned to practice earlier in the week and could be called up for Friday's match versus Sampdoria, Tuttosport reports.

Kallon skipped the last four matches due to a thigh injury. He should be back into the fold for this one, although his role could be more uncertain after the coaching change. In any case, he has mostly served as a super-sub, tallying one assist, 11 shots, 18 crosses and 11 shots in 12 games (five starts).

8.Stefano Sturaro

28-Year-Old Midfielder Genoa Serie A

Injury Thigh Est. Return 12/10/2021

Likely to be back in derby

Sturaro (thigh) was able to train with no limitations in the last couple of days and should be an option for Friday's game versus Sampdoria, Il Secolo XIX reports.

Sturaro missed the previous game, but his injury was minor and he should be available for this one. He has logged three shots, eight crosses, 12 tackles and nine clearances in ten matches (nine starts).
