Here is the list of the latest football players injuries, which might be helpful when you place your bets:

1.Javier Manquillo

27-Year-Old Defender Newcastle United Premier

Injury Suspension Est. Return 1/15/2022

Suspended against Southampton

Manquillo will miss Sunday's clash against Southampton with a suspension for yellow card accumulation.

ANALYSIS

Manquillo picked up his fifth booking of the season in Monday's draw against Manchester United, meaning he will be suspended for Sunday's game. Newcastle is going through a COVID-19 outbreak at the moment, and manager Eddie Howe might have to get creative in his fullback selections for the game.

2.Thiago Alcantara

30-Year-Old Midfielder Liverpool Premier

Injury Strain Est. Return 1/2/2022

Out with soreness

Alcantara is not in Liverpool's match day squad for Tuesday's clash against Leicester City due to muscle soreness.

ANALYSIS

Alcantara hasn't featured for Liverpool since testing positive for COVID-19 a few weeks ago, and he will now miss Tuesday's game as well. He will hope to be fit and ready to play by Sunday's big clash against Chelsea, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Naby Keita could fill in for him in midfield if necessary.

3.Takumi Minamino

26-Year-Old Forward/Midfielder Liverpool Premier

Injury Strain Est. Return 1/2/2022

Out with muscle injury

Minamino is not in Liverpool's match day squad for Tuesday's clash against Leicester due to muscle soreness.

ANALYSIS

Minamino played the full 90 minutes of last week's Carabao Cup victory against Leicester, but he is out on Tuesday with soreness. He will hope to recover by Sunday's big clash against Chelsea.

4.Steven Bergwijn

24-Year-Old Forward Tottenham Hotspur Premier

Injury Calf Est. Return 1/16/2022

Out with injury

Bergwijn missed Tuesday's draw against Southampton with a calf injury, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte confirmed after the game.

ANALYSIS

Bergwijn suffered his calf injury during the previous game against Crystal Palace, and he is a doubt for Saturday's clash against Watford as Conte estimates he will need at least 10 days to recover.

5.Matt Ritchie

32-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Newcastle United Premier

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 1/2/2022

Misses match Monday

Ritchie wasn't in the squad for Monday's match against Manchester United because of an undisclosed reason.

ANALYSIS

Ritchie was a surprise absence last match and it now appears there's a COVID-19 outbreak within the squad, postponing their match Thursday. The defender will be considered a doubt for the Jan. 2 contest with Emil Krafth and Javier Manquillo the options at full-back.

6.Kyle Walker-Peters

24-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Southampton Premier

Injury Suspension Est. Return 1/15/2022

Picks up fifth yellow card

Walker-Peters had a chance created and four clearances to go with his fifth yellow card of the season in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Tottenham. He'll be suspended for Sunday's match against Newcastle.

ANALYSIS

Walker-Peters will miss his first match since November because of suspension, which means a change for Southampton. With Valentino Livramento dealing with a knee issue, it's possible Yan Valery could slot into right-back while Walker-Peters is suspended against Newcastle and Romain Perraud plays at left-back.

7.Dimitris Giannoulis

26-Year-Old Midfielder/Defender Norwich City Premier

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 1/1/2022

Injured against Palace

Giannoulis was forced off at the break of Tuesday's match against Crystal Palace with an undisclosed injury.

ANALYSIS

Giannoulis was getting his first start in a couple matches Tuesday and then couldn't make it more than 45 minutes. He remains the backup to Brandon Williams and injuries aren't likely to help playing time in the second half of the season.

8.Joachim Andersen

25-Year-Old Defender Crystal Palace Premier

Injury Undisclosed Est. Return 1/1/2022

Exits late against Norwich

Andersen was forced off late with an undisclosed injury in Tuesday's match against Norwich.

ANALYSIS

It's another injury for Andersen, who only recently returned from a hamstring injury. The hope is that it's not a similar injury because it'd likely keep him out the next match, at a minimum. Palace have been noticeably worse with James Tomkins on the back line, so this injury has to be monitored.
