The annual £10,000 lottery draw winner says she still cannot quite believe she has won the jackpot.
Paula Henman, a lottery member for seven years said: “It’s not quite sunk in yet, I didn’t think I was going to win I just thought I was going to be there to make the numbers up.
“When my ball was the closest and my name was called out, I was really overwhelmed”.
When asked how she was going to spend the £10,000, Paula said: “A season ticket first of all, as for the rest of it we’ve spent it and re-spent it, so we’ve not quite decided yet.”
The Lottery supports the Doncaster Rovers academy and community activities within Doncaster Rugby League Club and the Club Doncaster Foundation and Paula feels that this a major incentive for her fellow supporters to sign up to the lottery.
She added: “It was great to see the academy kids involved on the day and I know the money goes into the academy and community work, and even if I didn’t come away with anything I know that it is going into a good cause."
